In the summer of 2023 wildfires raged across BC's interior. And while there are always people who refused to comply with evacuation orders, this time it was worse. More people, ill-equipped to do so, refused to leave. Then they began vandalizing emergency equipment, and even threatening firefighters. Tim Conrad was tasked with finding a way to break through with communications.
